Published in 1947 by Sporting Handbooks Limited; first edition; yellow hardback is in excellent condition - the first blank page has been trimmed at the corner (presumably to remove an earlier inscription), and there is also a Foyles Bookshop sticker. An unusual inside story from the (very stylish-looking) lady who worked behind-the-scenes at Wimbledon for 25 years; well illustrated throughout; preface by the Rt Hon Lord Vansittart
