Black and white cards, one of which came with Trawler, Critic or King Lud cigarettes - this set from JP Pattreiouex of Manchester, was made in 1935; the cards are of J Brown (No 26, Manchester United), RA Chester (No 35 Manchester United), A Stevenson (No 41, Everton) and P Burke (No 44, Oldham Athletic) - each of them is depicted in an action pose; would look great framed on the wall!
