Vanity Fair print, of Mr Jules Grevy; dated "July 12th 1879" above the image - with "Mr Jules Grevy" below the image; image itself is c.31cm by 18.5cm; the image is in good condition - though there is some tape wear to the outside of the border (c.2.5cm away from the image, so would be hidden when framed); although shown here playing billiards, Grevy was better known as the President of France - and one of Swann's dinner hosts in Proust's "In Search of Lost Time"
